Universal immunisation programme and Public health institutions in India.

Institutions of public health have been well built since the time of independence every year thousands of crores are spent on vaccination of children, crores are spent on just maintaining the cold chain, storage and supply along with a huge man power..

Since the time I started practice I have been advising parents to stick to UIP and go for government institutions for their children's immunisation, don't go for any extra vaccination like typhoid, chicken pox etc which is an unnecessary assault on your child's health moreover government institutions are far more safer than you think that too at no cost which vaccine mongering pharmas don't want you to believe.

So when it comes to our child's immunisation though we can afford with the grace of Almighty, the costliest facilities available there was no second thought for us neither as parents nor as doctors but to practice what we preach which is safest and effective too.
